We’re exploring the world of canning these days since we are getting more veggies than we can consume before they rot.
Our little serrano pepper plant has been giving us some serious amounts of peppers. We had no idea what we were going to do with them. My inquisitive husband found an intriguing recipe, so we gave it a shot.
Pickled Jalepenos (Escabeche)

We used carrots (from our garden as well), serrano peppers, cauliflower and onions.
Now we just have to wait a few weeks to let them pickle before we can try them.
